If you are not self-employed
You would claim the health and dental premiums as a medical expense tax credit.

If you are a Self-Employed Proprietorship
Sole proprietors may claim $1,500 for themselves, $1,500 for a spouse and $750 for each dependent child as a deductible expense

If you are an incorporated individual
The full amount of the premiums is tax-deductible as a business expense.
